Binding Restrictions

COLORADO

Based on current conditions of the Aspen Acres wildfire in Colorado, binding restrictions are in place for Kinsale’s Agribusiness Property, Aviation (Hull Coverage), Commercial Property, Energy Property (Oil Lease Property), High Value Homeowners, Inland Marine, Ocean Marine (Cargo Coverage), and Small Property products where impact is anticipated. The areas in which binding restrictions are being implemented are:

• Custer, El Paso, Fremont, Huerfano, Las Animas, and Pueblo counties
• Any location within 25 miles of an active wildfire, regardless of county

GULF COAST STATES

As a result of the anticipated track of Tropical Storm Bertha, binding restrictions are in place for Kinsale’s Agribusiness Property, Aviation (Hull Coverage), Commercial Property, Energy Property (Oil Lease Property), High Value Homeowners, Inland Marine, Ocean Marine (Cargo Coverage), and Small Property products in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. The counties/parishes in which binding restrictions are being implemented are:

• Alabama: Mobile and Baldwin counties
• Florida: Bay, Escabmia, Franklin, Gulf, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton counties
• Louisiana: Assumption, Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. Mary, St. Tammany, and Terrebonne parishes
• Mississippi: Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson counties

Per our guidelines, the restrictions implemented in the event of a declaration of state of emergency are as follows:

• No policy will be bound on any new business.
• No endorsement may be issued on existing policies that has the effect of increasing limits of liability or decreasing deductibles, and no endorsements for policy term extension will be offered.
• Renewals of expiring policies may be written provided there is no increase in coverage.
