Leadership

Michael P. Kehoe has served as our Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer since March 2026, and before that, as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer since March 2024. Prior to becoming Chairman of the Board, Mr. Kehoe served as President and Chief Executive Officer from June 2009 to March 2024. Mike’s previous roles include President and Chief Executive Officer at James River Insurance Company and various senior positions at Colony Insurance Company, finishing as Vice President of Brokerage Underwriting. Mike earned his B.A. in Economics from Hampden Sydney College and J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law.

Bryan Petrucelli has served as our Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since March 2020. Previously, Bryan served as our Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, and Vice President of Finance. Bryan’s previous roles include Senior Manager in Ernst & Young’s audit practice serving clients in the insurance industry and Travelers Insurance Company as a senior auditor. Bryan earned his B.B.A. in Finance from James Madison University and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University. Bryan is a Certified Public Accountant.

Diane Schnupp has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer since March 2021 and Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer when joining the Company in 2019. Diane’s previous roles include Principal Consultant at Impact Makers, Inc.; Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Capital Center, LLC; and various roles at Genworth Financial, Inc., including Director, Marketing Automation. Ms. Schnupp earned her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and M.S. in Technology Management from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Mark Beachy has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer since October 2020. Mark’s previous roles include Group General Counsel at The Travelers Indemnity Company, Managing Counsel at Travelers, trial attorney defending commercial and personal lines policyholders in bodily injury and property damage litigation, and positions of increasing responsibility in the claims department of both Travelers and Aetna Casualty and Surety Company. Mark earned his B.S. in Journalism from West Virginia University and J.D. from Catholic University, Columbus School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Virginia and D.C.

Amber Sheridan is an Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. She joined the company in 2015. Prior to joining Kinsale, she held a variety of human resource positions with a Fortune 500 company headquartered in Richmond, VA. Amber earned her B.S. in Education and Psychology from Minot State University and M.Ed. from Virginia Commonwealth University. Amber is certified through the HR Certification Institute.

Stuart Winston has served as our Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer since 2024. Stuart joined Kinsale in 2010 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility before being promoted to Senior Vice President, Underwriting in 2022. Prior to joining Kinsale, he held various underwriting positions at James River Insurance Company. Stuart earned his B.A. in Managerial Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations from The Institutes.

Patrick Dalton has served as our Senior Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer since 2024, leading business development and marketing. Pat joined Kinsale in 2010 and has managed both Kinsale’s professional lines underwriting and casualty underwriting. Prior to joining Kinsale, he held various underwriting positions at James River Insurance Company and USLI. Pat earned his B.A. in Journalism, Public Relations, and Advertising from Temple University.

Christopher Tangard is our Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer. Chris joined Kinsale in 2019 and has served as Vice President, Finance and Assistant Vice President, Internal Audit. Prior to joining Kinsale, he was a Senior Manager in the audit practice of KPMG LLP. He earned a B.A. in Economics and Commerce from Hampden-Sydney College and a MAcc from William & Mary. Chris is a Certified Public Accountant.

Scott Sheldon is our Chief Analytics Officer. He joined Kinsale in March 2015 as the Chief Actuary and has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Kinsale, Mr. Sheldon was the Vice President for the Auto Product at AAIS and held several management positions in Actuarial and Underwriting areas. Scott earned his B.S. in Mathematics from William & Mary.

Salmaan Allibhai is a Senior Vice President and has served as our Chief Actuary since March 2021. Previously, he served as an Actuary for Kinsale from 2016 to 2021. Prior to joining Kinsale, he was an Actuarial Analyst at Willis Towers Watson where he worked on commercial reserving analyses for both corporate and insurance clients. Mr. Allibhai earned his B.S. in Mathematical Decision Sciences and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Salmaan is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
